Participation in “CRAFTS CODE” (Interreg project) BUDAPEST

The Municipality of Budapest and the Budapest Foundation for Enterprise Promotion, Dr. Ana Garcia-Lopez was invited to participate in the “Crafts Code Public Disssemination Workshop” held in Budapest on June 21st and 22nd.

Crafts Code in an Interreg Project funded by the EU CRAFTS CODE aims to enhance the competitiveness of craft SMEs by developing a framework to stimulate policy learning and build capacity to improve the implementation of regional development policies and programmes. This gathering provides a valuable opportunity to discuss the different challenges encountered by craft SMEs in our partner regions.

Dr. Ana Garcia-Lopez participated in the Panel discussion under the topic: “The challenge for a creative future starts from a tradition of excellence: the creative sector and digital skills” with the participants:

  • Mr. Gábor KERPEL-FRONIUS, Vice-Mayor for Smart City and Inclusion. Budapest Municipality.
  • Mrs. Elena NANNI, Project manager and Murate Idea Park Coordinator School of Business Sciences and Industrial Technologies “Piero Balesi”
  • Mrs. Szuszi PANYI,  glass artists and artisan.
  • Mrs. Ana García LÓPEZ, Director of the Chair for Innovation in Crafts, Design and Contemporary Art at the University of Granada
